The Ida Funkhouser Roadside Memorial is the third episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 6. It is the fifty-third episode overall.

Description[]

Larry David's friend Marty Funkhouser's mother Ida dies, and since his father is already dead, he refers to himself as an "orphan" when Larry doesn't give him adequate sympathy. Larry tells him that once you are an adult, it's impossible to be an orphan. He says, "You can't be a sixty-year-old orphan."

Marty also owes Larry $50, but when he is annoyed about Larry pestering him for it, he hands him a crumpled sweaty $50 that he got out of his shoe, which nobody will take. Larry demands for another form of tender.

Also, Loretta Black wants Larry to get her kids into a private school. Larry unfortunately offends the headmistress of the school when he stands behind her on an ice cream line and yells at her for sampling every single flavor, eventually deciding on plain vanilla. To make it up to her, Larry wants to get her flowers, so he steals flowers off of Marty's mother's grave. Unfortunately, Marty discovers this when Larry also takes more flowers to give to Loretta Black and Auntie Rae, her mother.
