Susan "Susie" Greene is a main character on Curb Your Enthusiasm. She is Jeff's volatile wife, and Sammy's mother.

Family[]

Susie is Jeff's wife and Sammy's mother.

Personality[]

Susie is shrewd, short tempered, cruel, violent, foul-mouthed, and easily angered, despite the fact that she is unaware of Jeff's consistent infidelities. She is very protective of Sammy, which is shown in the episode "Denise Handicapped," when she throws Larry's Blackberry phone in the water when he forgets to watch after her daughter swimming. In "The Hot Towel," Susie bans Larry from her home when he yells at Sammy to stop singing early in the morning. She often addresses Larry as "Lare."

Though she often publicly yells at and bosses around Jeff, she also sincerely cares about him, and often intervenes to prevent him from eating unhealthy or participating in Larry's dangerous schemes.

Susie is also known for her flashy, somewhat tacky, yet expensive, clothing.

Cursing[]

Susie curses at Larry and Jeff when she is angry, often utilizing the F-word, making fun of Larry for being bald and having glasses, and making fun of her husband for being fat. In the episode The Bat Mitzvah", she often gets told off by Loretta, who bans her from her house for cursing and insulting Larry.

Appearances[]

Susie is a recurring character from season 1 through 7. In the first season she appears in "The Pants Tent", "The Wire" and "Beloved Aunt". In season 2 she appears in "Thor" and "The Doll". In season 3 she appears in every episode but the first, the third, the fifth and the sixth. In season 4 she doesn't appear in "Mel's Offer", "The Car Pool Lane", "The Surrogate" and "Opening Night". In season 5 she doesn't appear in "Kamikaze Bingo" and "The Smoking Jacket". In season 6 she doesn't appear in "The Therapists". In season 7 she doesn't appear in the sixth and the seventh episodes.

In season 8 and 9 she becomes a main character. In these two seasons she does not appear in "The Safe House", "The Bi-Sexual", "The Pickle Gambit" and "Never Wait for Seconds!"
